Fashion designer Linda Kokkonen will unveil her latest collection on 13 September at The Old Church, as part of London Fashion Week (LFW).
London Fashion Week 2024 takes place from Thursday, 12th September to Tuesday, 17th September and marks a significant milestone as it celebrates 40 years of showcasing the best of global fashion. LFW40 is set to spotlight London’s creative community, solidifying the city’s position as a leading cultural hub and a nurturing ground for emerging talent and visionary creatives.
As part of this celebration, Linda Kokkonen will present her latest collection, OENANTHE, characterised by the brand’s signature romantic and mystical aesthetic. Inspired by nature and spiritual themes, her designs offer a unique blend of ethereal beauty and sustainable practices.
The evening promises an immersive experience, beginning as the doors open at 6:00 PM. The main event, the OENANTHE fashion collection presentation, will start at 8:00 pm, featuring models performing throughout the venue, accompanied by music by DJ Laura MRLS. Guests will have the opportunity to view the designs up close as the models move through the space, with music continuing until late.
This event is supported and funded by the Finnish Institute in the UK & Ireland and the SKR Mobility Grant.

About the Designer
Linda Kokkonen is a Finnish fashion designer acclaimed for her ethereal, Victorian-inspired creations. She holds both a BA and MA from Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture.
Linda’s work seamlessly blends Victorian influences with modern, mystical elements, creating a distinct and otherworldly aesthetic. Her talent has earned her accolades from prestigious fashion competitions, including the International Hyères Festival, Designer’s Nest Copenhagen, and Moda Porto. She was also recognised as a Vogue Talent in 2017. Her designs have graced the pages of fashion publications such as Vogue Italy, Dazed, i-D, Metal Magazine, SWARM Magazine, Another Man, Elle Finland, and GATA Magazine. Linda often merges fashion with art, collaborating with visual artists like Tekla Vály and Laura Martínova.
Linda’s artistic endeavours have been showcased at venues including Myymälä2, Fashion Community Helsinki’s “Suomi-ilmiötä,” the Tishenko Gallery in Helsinki, and will soon be exhibited at Ateneum in Helsinki in late 2024.
