This year’s Liverpool Biennial features two works by Finnish artist Jenna Sutela: sound piece nnother and a new installation building on her I Magma series.

Liverpool Biennial 2021’s theme, The Stomach and the Port curated by Manuela Moscoso, invites artists to rethink traditional representations of the body and its individuality. The biennial programme consists of contributions by over 50 artists.

nnother is co-authored with the writer Elvia Wilk and co-commissioned by Liverpool Biennial and Science Gallery London, King’s College. Jenna Sutela’s participation in the exhibition is supported by Frame Contemporary Art Finland and the Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland.
