The Finnish Institute in London creates positive change by connecting people through culture, knowledge and art.
We are looking for a new Director to lead the institute´s work as our current Director’s term nears its end. The Director is responsible for developing and executing the Institute´s strategy, operations and fundraising.
A successful candidate has a broad interest and understanding of cultural and social issues relevant in Finland, The United Kingdom and Ireland. To successfully lead the Institute you have proven skills in building international networks, fundraising and managing multi-stakeholder projects. You understand that exploration and innovation require taking calculated risks. You are able to manage multi-funder budgets and multiple deadlines. You are fluent in Finnish and English and have a higher education degree.
The position is for a fixed term of four years starting preferably in August or September 2018.
