Hanna Västinsalo’s debut feature Palimpsest at Raindance Film Festival

Raindance Film Festival will have the UK Premiere of Hanna Västinsalo‘s Palimpsest, a compelling and emotionally charged film that tells the story of an elderly woman and man who are chosen for a gene therapy trial that reverses the ageing process. With the memories of their past lives intact, in a world full of opportunities, they realise that growing young is not just fun. This unusual love story asks, ‘What would you do with a second chance?’

Nominated for Raindance2023 Best International Feature strikes a delicate balance between poignancy and hope, seamlessly blending science-fiction elements with a deeply human and relatable story.
