The Finnish Institute wants to express solidarity and support for Ukraine and Ukrainians in this devastating time.
As a member of KULTA ry (central organisation for Finnish culture and arts associations) and EUNIC (EU National Institutions for Culture) we encourage art and culture organisations and the arts and culture community to offer support and resources for Ukrainian artists and cultural workers. In this article we have collected information about some resources and information from our network.

Various organisations in Finland have established emergency residency schemes and other support for those fleeing from or displaced due to the war in Ukraine. We have listed some examples here, but the list is non-exhaustive.
Frame Contemporary Art Finland collects and shares information of offered residencies and other support. Further action and information will be updated via their channels.
Emergency residencies (for individuals and families) – Frame Contemporary Art Finland, HIAP – Helsinki International Artist Programme, Connecting Points programme and Saari Residence are offering residencies and accommodation.
